I have a question maybe someone can help me resolve..
I am just a dumb VB programmer who doesn't do much in the ways of color scheming and graphics. I have been given the task of taking entries in a database and sending them to a PDF form as a reporting style option, if data is present fill the field if not make it yellow like a highlighter marker. Now I have automated the process and everything is working nicely filling in the data. The only thing I have a question on is...
When trying to setBackColor on a Form Field Object, it prompts me for RGB colorspace values in the form of Floating point singles.
All values are floating point numbers
'between 0 and 1. In the example below, we are using RGB color space. So the last
'parameter is set to "0"
field.SetSetBackgroundColor "RGB", 0.7, 0.5, 0.3, 0
Does anyone have a color chart or conversion method of changing the VB color pallete which uses values for example (RGB(255,0,0) or OLE_COLOR or HEX reference) to this representation?
The adobe Forms Automation sample has just confused me by using values 0.7, 0.75, 0.5 and so on, and if any one has an ENUM of the color constants that would really be helpful.
Forgive me if i sound stupid on this.
I appreciate any help I can get.
