I scan in magazine articles to be viewed on my web site. I scan directly into Photoshop 5.0 with 300 dpi and save the file as a TIF. I have tried using distiller 4.0 and writer to convert to pdf. The quality is absolutely horrible. The original is not preserved at all and is unreadable. Is TIF a bad choice to convert from? Is this a reader version problem? What can I do to preserve the quality of my scans?!?
