I've encountered the same sort of problem with both Adobe Acrobat Professional 6.0 and Adobe Reader. That is, when I open the application, once I move the mouse into the client area, they disappear/crash without a warning.

I managed to pin down the problem to the Updater plug-in, and I'm just curious as to whether anyone else has encountered similar behaviour.

Running the shrink wrap release and latest download from PDF Store (6.0.0 19/05)
