Interactivity and scripting... One way of adding interactivity to your documents (without having to do it the long and cumbersome way) is to use tools that allow you to add interactive elements to your documents in batch.
There are tools out there that allow you to build bookmarks based on the font info in your document. Such tools as ARTS PDF Bookmarker, Compose, ISIToolbox...
Also, ISIToolbox allows you to create table of contents pages in PDF too. I believe Organic Master Toolbox can do this aswell.
There's my 2 cents -- no doubt there are many other things you can do to add interactivity to your document automatically, but this is one thing that can be done rather easily with 3rd party tools.
