Here is my dilemma:
I must create some sort of program or pdf file that will create an electronic submittal of Word, CAD, pdf, and other office type documents. The program will also have to create bookmarks for each section of the submittal. I would like to make it without having to purchase Acrobat for each user or get a license.
I was considering the following (in order of ease in my opinion):
Writing a program in VB, or in Java with a wrapper
Writing in C++
Is there a way to do this without having to have Acrobat on each PC? I'm pretty sure Reader doesn't have any write features... is there a freeware from Adobe that will do basic write and edit functions?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
