Topic: ASFixed & Long coords... (Via Email)

It's still morning here, so bear with me on this if I am missing
something obvious...

All coordinates that you pass around using the SDK are tracked using
an ASFixed - this is true for setting the CTM/TM, as well as
coordinates in PDEPaths.

Since ASFixed is an ASInt32, representing a 16.16 number - that means
that we are still unable to generate PDFs (using the SDK) that with
values outside of 227in x 227in.

I had thought that Adobe was switching to either Float or Double for
coordinates - they did for the new AVDevCoord data structure, but not
for the others - as far as I can tell from the Acro6 headers.

Am I right on this, or just confused on a Tuesday morning?!?!

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
