I am a new user to Acrobat and the company I worked for just assigned me the task of discovering and creating examples of the "neat things" Acrobat has the capability of doing. I am using Acrobat 6 Pro and have been playing with JavaScript in addition to actions attached to different form fields. I am a programmer; and though I'm fairly new to the career field, I'm used to being able to get the majority of my work done with a text editor. Because of this, I've found myself extremely frustrated with all the dialog boxes that I have to go through to attach actions to form fields.
I'm hoping someone can save me the time and effort (because frankly, I haven't found the help files for acrobat all that helpful from a new user's standpoint) and answer one question. Is there by any chance a way of accessing and modifying form field actions programmatically? (i.e. using the keyboard as the main tool and not being forced to use the mouse to navigate through layers and layers of dialog boxes) If someone has any suggestions, I would be extremely grateful.
