I create PDFs in Acrobat 5.0 using links and forms.

I find that when I have placed an "exit" button to close the application (files are viewed full screen and the user simply 'closes' to exit) I have a problem with Reader 6.0.

The form field set to "execute menu item - exit" works great everywhere except Reader 6.0. It closes the open file but the application is still running in the foreground.

I want it to exit the Reader application.

Apparently, Reader 6.0 has an 'exit' and 'close' selection. Why does it only close the file and not the application.

Have I missed something? Do I have to upgrade to Acrobat 6.0 now? And what of the ones already produced in 5.0?

Hopefully, I'm just stupid and have missed something new.
