Topic: need a straight answer on a difference between Standard and Pro

Hi guys,

I have read several contradictory things and have expoerienced something odd to boot.

I know that only in Professional is the form tool active for creating new form fields, but I had standard installed on a workmates computer (since she never had to create form fields, only fill them in and save them (older pdfs created in versions 4 & 5, and of course 6).

The idea is she would fill the form fields in and save them as namethismonth.pdf.

Then next month, she needs to change the data appropriately and save the new one as namenewmonth.pdf.

Problem. In standard she could open, view change the data appropriately in the form fields created in 5, but could not then save those changes.

I upgraded her to professional and the problem went away.

Was this a bug or what? I need to purchse 30 copies fo PDF for the group now, and don't want to spend the extra for professional if it is not neccesary.

Help?
