That means that the Postscript you were given does not have
complete information in it concerning the glyphs/characters in the
text of the document. It is NOT an Acrobat issue, but a problem with
the tool/program that created the original PS.
If you can, go back and reproduce it using somethign modern -
including going direct to PDF with Acrobat.
