Topic: Help - Change Highlight Color in VB

I am trying to change the color of the highlighter in a VB interface from the Default of yellow to red. I feel like I have tried everything to get it to work -

Here are a few of the things I tried which didn't work for me
pdPage.SetColor color
acroPageView.SetColor color
h = AcroExchApp.SetPreferenceEx("avpHighlightColor", color)

I know that you can right click the highlighter to change the color, but I am trying to make an interface for kids and want to provide highlighter icons of various colors, so I need a way to automatically provide this.

Any help is much appreciated - this is my first time using VB and the Acrobat SDK, I'm normally a java person. I've been looking extensively through the SDK documentation, and haven't found much useful, so pointers to other references would be helpful too.

Thank you!

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
