One of the most interesting things at the show was Jaws Courier. This sends job ticket information with a PDF as XML. There is a web service in the Netherlands - ready4prtint, represented in the UK by Positive Focus. My impression is that Adobe's Transit is still fairly expensive and not widely available.

The Defra case study shows how PDF can be used for form filling but there seem to be no examples of PDF in use for print enquiries.
