Sometimes when i convert my MS Word files to a PDF, the file size increases and does not decrease. This is especially so when the file happens to be very wordy.
Acrobat have claimed that they have a 4:1 compression ratio. I have never came close to that - probably even the other way round.
So, is it something i am doing wrong or is it true that wordy files, or any files on the whole will still increase in file size ?
I was also told that Acrobat 6 really lives up to this compression ratio of 4:1 unlike its predecessors.
