June 5-7 event features global experts, learning opportunities
Planet PDF is pleased to announce its affiliation as a sponsor
of the PDF 2000 Conference, scheduled for June 5 - 7, 2000 in
Scottsdale, Arizona. The three-day event, produced and hosted by
DigiPub Solutions Corporation, will feature presentations,

Acrobat/PDF experts from around the world.
"Carl Young and the DigiPub team have put together a program

"Anyone involved with publishing, whether traditional or New

this educational event, and also to personally spending time

De Abrew will join founder Young as one of the conference's many

Many Learning Opportunities
As an Adobe-certified Acrobat trainer and consultant, Carl Young
knows first-hand that the more people learn about the varied
capabilities of Acrobat/PDF, the more they discover solutions to
various problems. The conference is another way to jump-start
that learning process.
"I see a real hunger among users for more and better
information," Young says. "I created the PDF 2000 Conference to
bring the most knowledgeable experts in Acrobat/PDF together for
an in-depth discussion of how to maximize the effectiveness of
the product."
Young says potential applications of Acrobat/PDF can be
found across all industries and organizations involved with
communication. "Web designers, technical writers, book
publishers, prepress and print operators and people in the
banking, pharmaceutical, insurance, manufacturing and utility
industries," he says, "can increase their Acrobat know-how by
attending this conference in June."
To further expand those learning opportunities, the list of
presenters and sponsors is still growing. "We've added a third track
of speakers," he says, "and are pleased to announce Planet PDF as
a sponsor."
"Planet PDF has become the leading source of independent
Acrobat/PDF information on the web," he says. "Many PDF 2000
Conference speakers contribute regularly to Planet PDF, and have
posted tips and tricks to the site's extensive archives. It's a
great resource for all Acrobat users."
