'Recognized expert in digital workflows, with particular emphasis
on PDF-based solutions'

San Mateo, CA -- Enfocus Software, the leading publisher of
Adobe PDF tools, has retained Michael Jahn as its Certified PDF Evangelist.
As Certified PDF Evangelist, Jahn supports the company's efforts to
communicate the benefits and importance of Enfocus Certified PDF workflows
to the graphics arts, creative, printing and publishing communities. He
will also provide workflow-level product support and training to key
customers.
Jahn is a recognized expert in digital workflows, with particular emphasis
on PDF-based solutions. His twenty years of industry experience includes
management roles in both printing companies and equipment suppliers.
Recently Jahn served as PDF Evangelist for Agfa Corporation and was Product
Manager for the Apogee Create PDF workflow tool. Michael has been active in
the development of the PDF/X specification with DDAP, NPES, CGATS and SWOP;
as well as the JDF specification via CIP4.
"Michael is known by many for his insight and passion for PDF, and he feels
just as intensely positive about Enfocus' PDF solutions," says Peter Camps,
CEO of Enfocus. "He's a great educator with a far-reaching scope of
influence. We will be proud to have him represent our company and products
to the PDF user community."
"I'm very excited to be working with a company whose mission is to provide
tools that make PDF easy and reliable for users. I'm looking forward to
spreading the word about Certified PDF, an enabling technology for people
who want to make perfect PDF files for specific requirements like PDF/X,"
says Jahn.
Prior to Agfa, Jahn was Director of Prepress Services for Shea
Communications. Before that he was with 4-Sight, (now part of WAMNET!), as
an OEM Business Development executive. His experience also includes seven
years at World Color Digital Services (now part of Quebecor World) as
