Promotional Contest for Adobe Acrobat 5 Master Class
Peachpit, Planet PDF are giving away 8 copies during next 4 weeks

15 July 2002

Master Class

We're teaming up with the good folks at Peachpit Press to offer eight free copies of "Adobe Acrobat 5 Master Class" by Pattie Belle Hastings, Bjorn Akselsen and Sandee Cohen during the next four weeks to lucky members of our global Planet PDF community.

Courtesy of Peachpit and the authors, check out a free excerpt on "Embedding Page Transitions" from the book's Chapter 10. Midway in the contest we'll post a second excerpt. See the Table of Contents to learn about topics covered in other chapters. Peachpit is also offering a special discount for members of the Planet PDF community on "Adobe Acrobat 5 Master Class" and several other current books dealing with Acrobat/PDF.

In Chapter 10, Pattie Belle Hastings describes her frequent use of ARTS PDF Tools, calling it her "Acrobat time management system." As is explained in this Guest Product Spotlight at the ePublish Store, ARTS PDF Tools, available for both Macintosh and Windows versions of Acrobat 5, is "actually a customizable tool bar that comes with more than 70 pre-defined tools and advanced Acrobat commands. You can also make and edit your own tools."

BONUS: Accordingly, ARTS is adding eight copies of PDF Tools to the jackpot for this contest -- each randomly selected book winner *also* receives a free copy of the ARTS software.
