Adobe adds PDF tool to LifeCycle

Ok, if you can afford the LiveCycle Enterprise Suite, which starts at US$50,000, then you'll be glad to hear that Adobe has widened the software program (per its announcement on Monday) to enable users to create Form Guides and flash-based graphics so users can more easily utilize and incorporate online PDF content.

In the wake of last week's major update to Adobe's premium Acrobat offering, Adobe has released the specification for the format that put the '3D' in 'Acrobat 3D'. This week in PDF also sees Bluestream and RenderX ink an OEM pact and an addition to LockLizard's PDF security offerings.

ePDF server software updated

GROUPWARE has announced the newest release of its ePDF server software. Version 3.8.5 adds what the developers call a "stackable" engine deployment feature, increasing the solution's potential processing capacity to 500,000 documents per day. In addition, native 64-bit operating system support is due to be added with the release of version 3.9 late in Q2 of this year.

Recosoft to release PDF2Office Professional 4.0 in late May

Another great scoop at the PDF Conference this year was the news that Recosoft plans to release a significantly updated version of its PDF2Office software. PDF2Office Professional 4.0 will be shipping out May 30th according to Paul Chadha, VP Engineering and Product Development for Recosoft.
