Layton Graphics yesterday announced that it had separated its software division, known as GeoScience, from the parent company to form TerraGo Technologies. Adobe announced today significant enhancements to its Adobe LiveCycle server platform. The update means that LiveCycle now delivers visual assembly of process automation applications without the need for programming and Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) for visibility into business processes and the ability to integrate data from two-dimensional (2D) barcoded forms for paper-to-electronic automation.

QuadriSpace has launched a 3D desktop publishing packages for creating interactive PDF files that include 3D objects. Using the new application, entitled Document3D, creators do not need JavaScript programming or other intermediate translators to create interactive 3D files, and can import 3D CAD files directly into PDF documents, create exploded views, capture product information and create step-by-step instructions.
