Slimming PDF bookmarks with JavaScript

PDF bookmarks are a must for the usability and navigability of longer documents. When these bookmarks are created programmatically, they are based on a template created using a combination of user settings and the content of the source document or web page. Importing and exporting form data in Acrobat

Print to PDF from any application

Perhaps the simplest way to create PDF documents using Acrobat is via the Print command. Any application that features such a command will include an 'Adobe PDF' entry in its list of printers upon installation of Adobe Acrobat and this can be used to 'print' a PDF version of the active document.
