PDF RAT is the Report Archival Tool for business. It will take a source PDF file such as an invoice or statement run, extract the predefined indexes for each respective document while splitting that single PDF file into multiple individual PDF files for archiving into your document management system.
PDF RAT is not restricted to certain input applications or output applications. It will accept PDF input files from leading ERP packages including JD Edwards, SAP, PeopleSoft, as well as those that have been massaged by a print formatting tool such as Create Print, Press, or Optio for example. PDF RAT will:
allow you to define your document indexes on-screen by "rubber-banding" fields
define and locate floating indexes across a page or multiple pages
define output field order by delimiter
include read-only indexes
create an output file for your document management system including indexes and respective image file name
execute a post-processing application automatically
PDF RAT's strength is it's scalability - allowing multiple servers to run a server specific license for processing specific reports. Benchmarks have rated it's document splitting speed to be one of the fastest or not the fastest in the industry today - leveraging memory and CPU speeds.
