EPM (Enterprise Print Manager) is designed as the single point of control to manage all enterprise-wide output in today's multi-platform network environment.
EPM receives output data from a variety of sources: legacy output (e.g. IMS/CICS via VTAM), JES spool, PC/UNIX environment (seamless integration with Windows) and via the EPM Application Programming Interface (API). EPM formats and transforms the received output into that of the destination printer/platform (e.g. AFP to PCL/PostScript or PDF). Finally EPM distributes the resulting output to the target printer/platform via existing networks; Internet (e-mail), Intranet (TCP/IP) or SNA network. All elements of the output distribution process can be managed and controlled directly from EPM across multiple OS/390 systems. Controlled end-user access (e.g. RACF controlled) is also provided for printer and print administration. EPM is one of the most flexible all-in-one printing solutions available, and can also be offered as convenient add-on modules with a minimum of changes to your existing installation.
OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
