PDF ePrinter is an application which allows you to convert almost anything you can print into a Portable Document Format (PDF) file. Using the LaserWriter printer driver, the PDF ePrinter application "captures" the spooled print job and, based on your settings for the job, converts it to a PDF file.
Some of the things you can control in the output PDF file include:
Creation of an outline tree (bookmarks), both automatically and through embedded commands
Links within a document and to web sites
File and image compression
Transitions and slide show settings
All of the settings for a job can be saved as a template to reuse. The entire printing and conversion process can also be controlled from AppleScript.
PDF ePrinter is distributed as freeware. Please review the license included in the Reference Manual for more information about using and redistributing the software package.
OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
