Saffron Document Server is virtual printer software. Applications typically
will connect to the multi-threaded Saffron server over intranets (or the
Internet) and "draw" successive text and graphics objects (using Sun's
Java2D) that comprise the pages of target documents. Saffron will then
translate these pages into PDF, HTML, RTF, and soon SVG.
Saffron is compatible with leading web/portal server such as BEA WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, Oracle 9iAS, JBoss, SilverStream, and Macromedia JRun/Cold
Fusion. It includes a Postscript interpreter written in Java, a MS Windows
Postscript print driver, and a document repository.
OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
