The 3-Heights™ PDF Security Tool provides the following encryption
features:
Encrypt a PDF document with an owner password to restrict the
permissions from being changed
Encrypt a PDF document with a user password to ensure only authorized
users can read the document
Set the encryption level (40, 48, 56, 64, .., 128-bit)
The following permissions can be set with an owner password:
low resolution printing
modifying the PDF document
copying content
adding or modifying annotations
form filling
enabling screen reader devices for the visually impaired
assembling
high quality printing
The 3-Heights™ Security API can be used via COM API to support VB,
NET, Delphi, C, etc. applications. There is also an interface available
for Java and C.
The 3-Heights™ Security Shell Tool can be run from the command line.
