The 3-Heights™ PDF Printer Service is a Windows Service that automatically prints PDF documents in watched folders to any printer device that is accessible through the Windows operating system (not only PostScript).
With the 3-Heights™ PDF Printer Service you can:
Install a Windows PDF Printer Service Process
Start and stop the service through the Windows services control window
Control the service through a command line interface
Configure any number of printer threads
Configure a watched folder per thread
Configure individual printer settings per watched folder
The following options can be configured:
Group arbitrary PDF documents and pages thereof into print jobs
Set the page mode (center, scale to fit)
Set the vertical and horizontal page offset
Set custom paper sizes
Sort pages by page number or by document
Save the PDF print spool file on disk
Select the paper orientation
Select the paper bin, paper size, number of copies
Print PDF documents in duplex mode
Add watermarks (text or images) to the printed documents
Set the rendering mode (fast, precise)
Select the color mode (color, black & white)
Use JPEG compression
Convert embedded fonts to Type1 or TrueType fonts
Select the print quality
Print only selected pages
