The PDF Validator can determine if a PDF document or an entire PDF archive is PDF/A compliant. If you’re converting a TIFF archive into PDF/A, the Validator provides the optimal quality assurance check that can be built directly into your conversion process. Individual company requirements beyond the PDF/A standard can also be verified during the analysis process.
The 3-Heights™ PDF Validator supports a comprehensive validation and verification process: Validate PDF documents in accordance with any of the following standards and specifications:
- PDF/A-1a
- PDF/A-1b
- PDF Reference 1.x
Analyze for all occurrences of non-conformance in a document, or stop after the first occurrence Create an output list of all conforming files Create an output list of all non-conforming files, listing the non-conformances.
PDF Tools AG can also custom build the tool to verify conformance with documentation rules according to your own corporate standards, for
example:
- all images must be between 300-600 dpi
- define a list of approved fonts
- define a list of approved scanners
- define a list of non-approved PDF Creators verify against a list of approved
- digital signatures ensure that specific metadata has been included
The 3-Heights™ PDF Validator SDK is a software development kit that can be used via COM API to support VB, .NET, Delphi, C/C++ etc. applications. Interfaces for Java and native C are also available.
The 3-Heights™ PDF Validator Shell is executed from the Command Line.
